In this study, Ngurah Suryawan described the field of power in Balinese art. He recorded events and names marking the development of modern art from colonial era until the contemporary era that has created a new field of industry in Bali.
Tuhfah project is a grant award for research on themes around art that are rarely brought up or discussed. The grand theme raised was “Sejarah Senyap/Silent History”. Tuhfah Program was run for three years with three research focuses proposed by Primanto Nugroho, Antariksa, and I Ngurah Suryawan.
