In this study, Primanto raised the issue of art collecting. He addressed the issue of institutionalization of elements in the field of art, power changes, political and economic dynamics, and their effects on commodity circulation. He concluded his research by a discussion on art collection at the public level, to the inter-personal relations that give life to the field of circulation.
Tuhfah project is a grant award for research on themes around art that are rarely brought up or discussed. The grand theme raised was “Sejarah Senyap/Silent History”. Tuhfah Program was run for three years with three research focuses proposed by Primanto Nugroho, Antariksa, and I Ngurah Suryawan.
