Tapestry art has been found in Indonesia since 2500 BC. In Indonesia, tapestry is similar to weaving. In creating a work of weaving, the basic frame is made by weaving. Tapestry art is a new term for contemporary weaving artists, and the materials used could be any form of fiber, either chemically processed or natural, such as wood fiber, bamboo and coconut husks that have been softened and processed specifically. These fibers are then weaved and braided on a plane that stretches the threads forming interesting patterns.
