This exhibition presents the work of Ki Ledjar Soebroto, a wayang kulit (shadow puppet) maker and a dalang (puppeteer). Ki Ledjar is an active puppeteer who creates historical figures in the form of shadow puppets. He also presents other characters like animals, or modifies traditional wayang shapes. In this exhibition he presents Wayang KNIL (Dutch-Indies Army) that is inspired by a historical account of the Dutch Military Agression of 1949.
