For the last five years Pius Sigit Kuncoro has been intensely painting, after previously being involved in multimedia-based art projects. He presented paintings inspired from events like heavy illness to the death of former RI president Soeharto. He makes interpretations from news coverage of print and electronic mass media, and explores personal impression regarding the figures as well as people in the orbit of the said figure. The exhibition was opened by performance art by Adin and Santoso.
