Kuss Indarto as IVAA representative conducted a survey to West Sumatra to find an intern candidate. M Ridwan was chosen to join with the Belanak Art Community. M. Ridwan then conducted observations to communities and art spaces in Yogyakarta, Bandung, and Jakarta. At the end of the internship period, M. Ridwan presented his observation results covering topics such as: personal identity as a reflection of community behavior; communal style in art organization, and dealing with the local context by activities done communally.
