From 1999 to 2003, UNESCO-IFPC together with Ford Foundation and Kelola Foundation supported the program “Bursaries for Artists”, where IVAA acted as one of the host. In this program, hosts select proposals from artists and the chosen are given facilities for two months staying period. Artists have the obligation to hold lectures, open studio and artwork presentation in forms of exhibition or performance.
From 2005 to 2008, IVAA had been cooperating with Asialink in hosting Australian artists and art managers. However in the future, we intend to alter the program to a residency for researchers.
