Drypoint is a graphic art technique that is part of intaglio. The difference is, this technique does not involve the process of acidification. With drypoint technique, an image is etched with a metal or diamond point on a copper, aluminum or acryllic plate. This technique is one of the subjects aimed at supporting Gerilya Project, an assitance project aimed for art teachers at the Junior High School level in Yogyakarta. This tutorial is guided by Maryanto, an atist who often produces graphic art work and who had been a member of Grafis Minggiran community.
