Asura (Apresiasi Seni Rupa untuk Remaja, Art Appreciation for Teenagers) is aimed at high school students in Yogyakarta. First, the executing team distributed questionairres to 23 Junior High Schools in Yogyakarta for three months. Later, two schools were chosen based on their intensive art program and the fact that quite a lot of students were involved. Afterwards, one school was selected that responded enthusiatically, namely, SLTP Kanisius Gayam. The artists that were involved were Ali Umar and Sigit Pius. This program was aimed at students for art appreciation, something that had not received much emphasis from the teachers who mostly came from non-art background.
