AKAP (an inscription commonly found on intercity buses) was held to follow up on the Yogyakarta-Padang exchange project, “Mengerti Indonesia”. AKAP served as a meeting venue for several groups/initiatives from: Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Bandung, Denpasar, and Padang. The pqarticipants are initiatives whose staying power has been proven in managing the organization, activities, and their idealism with all their limitations. Every session raised an issue that is close to the range or problems in managing institutions/groups/initiatives, such as: Program Design, Networking, Capacity Building, Conflict Managements, Financial Management and Fundraising. Representatives of each institutions/groups invited presented sample cases (such as projects or routine operational administration) that they have done, and problem solving strategies.
